The ballad of the Princess
Chapter 1 -Beginning
Once, in a certain kingdom, where there were frequent wars with neighbouring country's, but there was unity between the people, that's where our story starts. Queen Nozomi, an elegant woman aged 45 years old, though she looked no more than 35, in a beautiful dress all tge way to her feet, with long red, even scarlet hair and chesnut eyes. She ruled the country of Sinka, although this kingdom did have a King, the Queen was the one in charge. One day, the Queen called all of the unmarried maidens to the palace. This applied only to the women from family's of baron standing and above. When all the women were gathered, the Queen said-
- It's really great that in this ancient kingdom lots of beautys still live Here, but Only 1, JUST 1Beauty will become the wife of the first and crown prince of Sinka!
You could see the surprise of the maidens in their eyes! Suddenly the princess of Sinka, Kamome, came into the room.
- Mother, what ever is the ruckus going on here?
- Ah, my datling daughter! You see, I need to find a wife for your older brother Heid. Speaking of which, you're not married either! Even though you're already 19 (Women were usually married by 17, back in the day).
-I refuse to get married!
